Congratulations Jake for finishing his Master's Thesis!

Jake Sarver completed a Master's thesis entitled, "Investigating community assemblage and host specificity of foliar fungal endophytes in pine." Thank you Holly Moeller (EEMB) and Carolin Frank (UC Merced) for serving on his committee and providing comments on multiple drafts this quarter! Also big thanks to David Gernandt and Rodolfo Salas-Lizana (UNAM) for helping with phylogenetic analyses. This work builds on field work from 2015 and explores host specificity of the Lophodermium genus within pine species of the northeastern US. We are excited to prepare it for publication soon, so stay tuned!
